Real Estate Solicitor | National Law Firm BCL Legal is proud to partner with a leading national law firm in their search for a skilled Real Estate Solicitor to join their Charity Real Estate team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a top 50 UK law firm, handling a diverse range of real estate matters for charity and not-for-profit clients. The role will be based in either the Chelmsford or Ipswich office, with flexible working arrangements allowing you to work from home for 2-3 days a week. As a Real Estate Solicitor in this team, you will work alongside experienced lawyers and have the opportunity to gain exposure to complex charity property transactions, including charity mergers, restructures, and compliance with charity law. Key Responsibilities: Advising on commercial landlord and tenant matters for charity clients. Supporting on investment and asset management issues. Assisting with commercial property development projects. Providing property support in corporate transactions. Advising on secured lending matters for banks and borrowers. Collaborating on charity law compliance in property matters, including permanent endowment and Charities Act compliance. Working closely with colleagues across other practice areas, such as Charities and Commercial Real Estate teams. The Candidate: To be successful in this role, you should have experience in some or all of the following areas: Commercial landlord and tenant matters. Investment and asset management. Commercial property development. Secured lending and property support in corporate transactions. No prior charity law experience is necessary, as full training and support will be provided. You will be a proactive and motivated solicitor who thrives in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
